I'm an author of a series of books - the Stonewylde Series. Take a look at my website www.stonewylde.com. I live with my partner and two Burmese cats. I used to be a teacher until I gave it all up to concentrate on writing full time. The Stonewylde Series is about an alternative community in Dorset where the old pagan ways are still followed. If you're interested in earth energy, green magic, the Triple Moon Goddess and anything mystical and magical to do with standing stones and ancient woodlands, you'd enjoy my books. I live in a 16th century cottage with oak beams and sloping ceilings - it has a wonderful atmosphere and is in keeping with the spirit of my books. I've recently moved from Dorset where I loved walking in the hills - I miss the beauty and space of the countryside but at least I have a river nearby. I enjoy walking, going to the gym, reading, day-dreaming, being with my gorgeous partner, seeing friends and travelling.

Music
Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Placebo, Foo Fighters, Faithless, Nirvana, Audioslave, the Cure, Green Day, Pink Floyd, loads of good old eighties stuff like Joy Division and Bauhaus.
Films
Ladyhawke, Bladerunner, The Witness, anything with Johnny Depp, latest James Bond film, Indiana Jones trilogy, Lost Boys, the old Star Wars films, Beetlejuice, the Addams Family.
Sports
Hate watching sports. I enjoy running, exercise classes like aerobics and bodypump, swimming and long walks.
Scared Of
Spiders, drowning, people with closed minds.
Happiest When
Making love, day dreaming, sunbathing, walking in open countryside or woodlands, writing.
My dream is ...
To see all five of the Stonewylde Series in print (at present the first two books are published) and selling well all over the world.
And also ...
To see all my children happy (they are at the moment!), to spend my life with Mr B and make him happy (he deserves it).

    i remember the first time i read one of her books and that was the start of an incredible thing.

    You've really inspired me and alot of my friends know about your books now because they have seen me reading them alot. I also recommended them too. I was really fascinated by the moon and your books made me look into it even more.

    You had nightmares? Wow, I know. Sol is really scary, I wouldn't like to cross someone like him. :L Just by chance...are any of your characters based on some people you know? :P

    I can't wait 'till the fourth book comes out, I've nearly finished the third and I'm soo excited. Thankyou for writing such magical books.

    Definitely let me know when you will be coming to cornwall and will do my best to get some time off to meet up.

    Sadly the start of 2008 hasn't been good so far for me. I am waiting to see a neurosurgeon at derriford about my back and also see my consultant about the hysterectomy tomorrow.

    To add insult to injury i was in a car accident last friday. I am ok now but it was terrifying, luckily i always protect myself and the car before i drive so i just suffered a few bruises and the car is repairable. The sad thing is i was in such shock at the time i did not even get the names of the people who managed to get me out. Mind you five cars drove by when i was stuck in the car wedged into a hedge!

    However the three people that did stop and help were amazing, i don't know what i would have done without them!

    Anyway the rest of the year can't be as bad as the start!
